Uganda Kids Camp 2026

At the beginning of January, our children will once again have the chance to take part in a very special camp — organized by Worship House Church in Kampala. Each year, around 400 children from different regions of Uganda attend, and our children from grade 3 and up are invited to join.

The camp takes place during the school holidays on the grounds of a large boarding school in the capital, offering plenty of space for games, sports, action, and everything else that makes children’s hearts beat faster. For many, the highlight is the delicious food served three times a day — a rare and special treat that they don’t take for granted. For one whole week, the children can just be kids, far away from the worries and hardships of everyday life.

For many, it’s a unique opportunity to leave their village surroundings and make new friends from all kinds of backgrounds.

In addition to all the fun and games, there are daily sessions with music and uplifting messages. The children hear stories from the Bible, sing songs, laugh, and experience that they are valuable and never alone in life.

Our younger children don’t miss out either: for them, we organize a special Fun Day at the end of January — packed with joy and exciting activities.

In January 2025, our children took part in this camp format for the very first time — and even months later, they were still talking about it. Before the camp, our sponsors had the opportunity to cover the camp fees for “their” child, and thanks to several generous donations, we were able to take every single child with us.
